To be polite, this weather station isn't worth the price. I bought cheap and I got cheap. While the indoor/outdoor temperatures and barometer appear to be accurate, the anemometer is worthless. It is properly mounted on the peak of my roof, several feet above the peak in an unobstructed area. Today the wind is literally howling, trees bending over in the wind and things blowing down the street. The TE831W-2 shows the maximum wind speed today to be 9.1 MPH. WRONG! Most of the time the WIND CHILL measurement is wrong. Yesterday, it was 42 degrees but it showed the wind chill to be 61 degrees. I am awaiting delivery of a more expensive weather station and the HONEYWELL will go where it belongs, in the garbage can!
