It's not like, the ultimate in safe-cash keeping. But it's pretty darn good. Previous reviewers seemed to have issues with the lock, however I've had no trouble at all. The worst thing I can say about the item I recived was the top half of the box was slightly misaligned with the bottom half.
The metal of the box is heavy, and seems like it could take a half-beating fairly well. The lock is somewhat cheap, but it does the job if you're just looking for a way to keep your roomies from jacking your bank.
