Normally I purchase dirt devil bags 3-920750-001, but the store I went to was out of stock, so I picked up some of these "compatible" bags. Once I got home I put one of these in my dirt devil ultralight vacuum and tried to use it. It screamed - literally. A high pitched squealing noise that I had never heard before later for about 2 min of vacuuming and then abruptly stopped. The vacuum seemed to operate normally after this, but when I was done vacuuming I noticed that the air was rather dusty. Upon opening my vacuum, I noticed that the bag had split on the bottom, dumping dust inside the vacuum. So I put in a new bag and the squealing began again, when it stopped this time I turned it off and looked inside, and sure enough the bag split. Needless to say, I will not be trying out the third bag.
