The screen is easy to see and I like how the set tempurature and the actual room temperature are displayed at the same time on the same screen. I really like the 24 volt hardwired feature which gives you the option to wire the 24V transformer in your furnace to your thermostat therefore using the batteries as back-up power only (in case of power outage). The batteries can be replaced from an easy to open side door so you don't have to take the whole thermostat off the wall to replace the batteries as with some other electronic thermostat's.
