Save Honeywell 3040D Digital Large Security Box

I had this item given to me, so I shouldn't complain -- but I will.

It's a nice looking box, but I wonder where the "security" bit comes in. The sidewalls may be sturdy, but it has a thin welded base and is only fire retardant at best. Don't be fooled by the "Honeywell" imprimatur. In today's world many trusted brand names can be "borrowed" for a fee (like "Singer" and "Raleigh" (cycles)). There ought to be a law against this practice. The "Honeywell" on this pretty box is used under licence by the real manufacturer, a company called Sisco, and the item is made in China.

So, two stars: one because I got it gratis; one because it's not very secure at all.Get more detail about Honeywell 3040D Digital Large Security Box.

Discount Duracraft DY-012 Oscillating 3-Speed Tower Fan

I read all of these reviews before purchasing this fan, and totally love the fan! Works great, took two minutes to assemble, runs quietly and smoothly, stable, and moves air up to 15' on low setting. I'm very happy with this fan and highly recommend it - especially for the price! Thanks to everyone who takes time to write reviews...it was most helpful in making my decision. Cheap Honeywell HZ-3750GP Electronic Ceramic Tower Heater

I just got this unit for a small play room in my basement. The temp in the basement is around 60F in the winter time. I set the unit for 68F and in over an hour, the room is still around 60F. You do feel the heat if you are in front of it but it certainly does not heat up a whole room. On a more positive note, there is no loud beeps when a button is pushed. Buy Honeywell RCWL8000A1002/W VisioCam Wireless Video Door Chime Set

I am hard of hearing so I use this to alert me that someone is at the front door. The strobe and video are outstanding. The transmitter transmits the signal through the entire 2,000 SF home and even to the second floor office room. Thank you Honeywell and Amazon this is a great product and well worth the money. I had a $800.00 system in my other home that didn't work as well as this does for $175.00. Easy set-up even for an elderly gentleman like I am. Five stars....buy it!Get more detail about Honeywell RCWL8000A1002/W VisioCam Wireless Video Door Chime Set.

Purchase Aube by Honeywell TI034-3W/U Solar Programmable Timer Switch, White

I used this switch to replace an already installed intermatic switch that failed after one year of use. This is an excellent replacement. It has automatic settings for turning on at sunset and off at sunrise based on my longitude/latitude.

Unfortunately it does not have as much schedule flexibility as some intermatic switches - it requires the same settings for every day and doesn't have weekday or weekend settings. However, this wasn't a problem in my installation because I only require that the outdoor lights turn on at the same time every day. I'll gladly take a reduced schedule in a switch that works every day, unlike the junk that Intermatic makes.Get more detail about Aube by Honeywell TI034-3W/U Solar Programmable Timer Switch, White.
