When I first purchased this product I was very satisfied. The quality was much better than the old Walgreen's humidifiers I used in the past. It was quiet and didn't get mold in it.

After using about 6 times, the spinning wheel starting making the LOUDEST noise & nothing would stop it. I didn't have the receipt & it'd been past 60 days so I couldn't return it. (I only use this when I am ill therefore I'd had it over a year).

I looked at the website & called the customer service line & was unable to fix it. It does come w/a 2 year manufacturers warrenty but by time you pay for shipping/time/etc, its not worth the hassel.

Product works as stated. I noticed a difference in air quality after less than a day of use. The air flow is excellent...many units have restricted flow, but this unit has two fans and is capable of cleaning the air with ease, with out all the noise some other units make on high (Compared to my last 2 Oreck's that were LOUD when put on high). Over all great product for the price. Love the replaceable UV lights...went on KAZ website and found them to be affordably priced...also like the permanent filters as this was a concern in other competitors models-no filters to replace means cheaper over long term ( Avg. Filter costs $40-90). Would recommend this product to others.

I'm pleased with the ease of using this cooler. Right out of the box, I poured water into the opening on the top and plugged it in. It worked fine with no set-up or hassle. It has definitely helped to humidify the back half of my home which is where I spend most of my time. I've noticed an improvement in my dry, winter skin. Be aware though that this is essentially a "swamp cooler" and it does have a cooling effect, particularly on the room where you place it. I've needed to turn my thermostat up a degree or two to maintain the same feeling of warmth as before I got the humidifier. To me it is worth it due to the huge improvement in my dry, winter skin with the additional humidity. Honeywell International T87K1007 Round Manual Thermostat Get it now!

I purchased the Honeywell "T87K1007" ON 1/8/09. It worked fine for about a month or less. My wife & I woke up & it was only fifty in out bedroom. No matter what setting I put the thermostat at, there was never any demand at the burner. I reinstalled an very old Honeywell mucry thermostat and this old baby is working fine. Per the Honeywell maual it says that it has a five year warantee. Well, I did that & Honeywell said it only has a one year warantee and that the vendor is responsable. Cheap Honeywell TH8110U1003 Vision Pro 8000 Digital Thermostat

Seems to work OK, but clearly doesn't deserve a raving review. Things I did not like:

- Need manual to set up because codes are used rather than plain English. For example code 0170 is "System Type," code 0180 is "Fan Control," 0280 is "Backlight," 0330 is "Daylight Savings," etc. There are more than 30 of these settings, some of which need to be changed periodically (e.g. furnace filter change reminder) so if you lose the manual you might as well get a new thermostat.

- Need to remove thermostat from wall to replace batteries - not so easy to do without risk of damage.

- Noisy switching

- The touch screen is not very responsive

- Honeywell advertises customer support; the manual even directs you to their web site if you have questions. But in reality they provide very little help.

Bottom line: It works as a thermostat. It has good points, but also bad points -
bad enough that I wish I'd bought a different thermostat.
